Multi-token swaps are now live on LCX Liberty DEX
· 3 min read

Most DEX swaps work the same way: one token in, one token out. That's fine for a single trade. But if you want to spread ETH across three tokens, or clear out a few small leftover balances, you have to set up and confirm a separate swap for each one.
LCX Liberty DEX now supports multi-token swaps. You can swap any number of tokens in a single swap flow, choose how the value is split between them, and swap on one chain or across chains. It works on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and OP Mainnet.
As always, your tokens stay in your own wallet and you sign every trade.
What's changed
- Tokens per swap. Before, one in and one out. Now, any number in and any number out.
- Splitting value. Before, you needed separate swaps. Now, value is split evenly by default, or you can set your own percentages.
- Chains. Before, one chain at a time. Now, same-chain or cross-chain across four networks.
- Swapping five tokens. Before, five separate swaps, each set up and confirmed. Now, one swap flow, with approvals confirmed one after another in your wallet.
Four ways to swap
Each mode works on a single chain or across chains.
- One to many. Pay with ETH and receive USDC, WBTC and LINK. Good for spreading one token into several.
- Many to one. Pay with DAI, UNI and SUSHI and receive USDC. Good for combining small leftover balances.
- Many to many. Pay with USDC and USDT and receive ETH and WBTC. Good for rebalancing a set of tokens in one go.
- Cross-chain. Pay with ETH on Ethereum and receive USDC and WETH on Base. Good for moving value to another chain while you swap.
Supported chains
Multi-token swaps work on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and OP Mainnet. Same-chain swaps work on all four, and cross-chain swaps work between any two of them. Pick a different chain on the “Pay on” and “Receive on” panels, and the swap becomes cross-chain. If you want to know what happens behind a cross-chain quote, see cross-chain swaps explained.
How to use it
- 1. Connect your wallet. Go to dex.lcx.com and connect a wallet such as MetaMask. The Swap card has two panels: “Pay on” (what you give) and “Receive on” (what you get).
- 2. Turn on multi-select. Click the token button on either panel. At the top right of the token list, click the checklist icon labeled “Select multiple tokens”.
- 3. Pick your tokens. Tick the tokens you want. You can scroll the list, search, or use the quick chips (ETH, WETH, USDC, USDT, DAI). Then click “Add [X] tokens”.
- 4. Set amounts and splits. On the pay side, enter an amount for each token, or tap MAX. On the receive side, value is split evenly by default (AUTO); to set your own split, type percentages or drag the handles on the allocation bar. To remove a token, click the X on its row.
- 5. Review and sign. Check the summary below the Swap button, click Swap, and confirm in your wallet. Your wallet asks for one approval per token, so swapping 5 tokens into 5 tokens means 5 approvals. Single-token swaps work the same as before.
Why it matters
- Saves time. One swap flow replaces several separate ones.
- No token limit. Add as many tokens as you need on either side.
- No extra LCX fee. LCX charges nothing on the swap. You still pay network gas and the underlying pool's trading fee, the same costs as trading against those pools directly.
- One flow, same routing. A multi-token swap goes through the same routing as a normal swap, including cross-chain.
- You set the split. Use the even split or set exact percentages.
- Works across chains. Move value between Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and OP Mainnet while you swap.
- Non-custodial. Tokens move from your wallet and back to it. LCX never holds them. More on that in what non-custodial actually means.
