Introducing LCX Liberty, the DeFi product line from LCX
· 4 min read

LCX Liberty is now open at defi.lcx.com.
It is the DeFi product line from LCX, built on one idea: what you do on-chain should be cheap, quick, and open to anyone who wants to check it. Two products are running today, and everything below is something you can verify yourself right now.
One home, then the products
defi.lcx.com is the centre of the line. It is where you see what exists, what each product does, what stage it is at, and what $LCX is for. The legal documents live there too. If you want to know the state of LCX Liberty, that is the one page to read.
From there you go out to the products themselves, each on its own domain so it can be used directly rather than through a portal: chain.lcx.com for LCX Liberty Chain, and explorer.lcx.com for LCX Liberty Explorer.
They are separate addresses but not separate projects. One token across them, one design language, one support desk. As the line grows, defi.lcx.com stays the front door.
What is running today
LCX Liberty Chain. Tokenize it. An OP Stack Layer 2 secured by Ethereum and fully EVM compatible, so the tools you already use work unchanged. It is the infrastructure layer for tokenization: registering real world assets, verifying them, and moving them on-chain. On Meridian testnet it settles in about a second with sub-cent fees, and it sits inside the 25+ network Superchain.
LCX Liberty Explorer. Scan it. The official block explorer for LCX Liberty Chain. Search transactions, addresses, blocks, tokens and contracts in real time. It is public and read-only: no account, no key, no rate-limited API tier standing between you and the data.
Both are on testnet. Testnet tokens have no monetary value, and mainnet timing will be announced through official LCX channels rather than hinted at here.
More of the line is coming
The chain and the explorer are the foundation, not the finished product line. More products are being built on top of them, and each one will appear on defi.lcx.com when it runs, not before.
That is a deliberate rule rather than caution. A product line that lists things you cannot use yet teaches you to discount everything else on the page. So the front door only ever shows what is real, and the day something new is usable, it shows up there first.
Why we built it this way
Verifiable by default. Verification should not be a favour an operator grants you when you ask nicely. Every block the explorer indexes is readable by anyone, so our description of the network is never the only account of it.
Nothing of yours to hold. LCX Liberty is non-custodial by design. The chain is permissionless, the explorer is read-only, and LCX never takes custody of your assets. Support will never ask you for a private key or a recovery phrase, because there is nothing on our side for anyone to hand over.
Cheap enough to stop thinking about. Fees that round to nothing and confirmation you do not wait on are not a luxury feature. They are the condition for using a chain the way you use any other software.
One line, not four vendors. The chain and the explorer are built by one team, in one design language, behind one support desk. They are not separate products from separate companies that you are left to stitch together.
Who is behind it
LCX has been building digital-asset infrastructure since 2018, across exchange, custody and tokenization. LCX Liberty is developed by LCX Liberty Labs Inc. (LCX USA), a US company of the LCX Group.
The line is powered by $LCX, the utility token across the LCX ecosystem. $LCX is not an investment, and we make no claims about price.
